A native of Prentiss, Mississippi, Austin graduated from Mississippi State University in 2021 with a degree in Biological Sciences before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi in 2025. He was admitted to the Mississippi Bar later that same year. Austin is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Mississippi and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
